Over the last four years, the CCPH collaboration with the RADx-UP Coordination and Data Collection Center (CDCC) has resulted in numerous successful projects and deliverables contributing to the RADx-UP legacy assets that will advance community engagement in health studies through collaborating center support. CCPH created and is helping deliver a Dissemination Plan with three categories of assets:
- The RADx-UP Public Health Emergency Playbook,
- Repositories for Resources from study sites and RADx-UP.org, and
- Associated media such as toolkits, guides, and dissemination materials for targeted audiences.
Here are some highlights of CCPH’s legacy assets and their significant contributions to the study Dissemination, which we can all take pride in.
CCPH assets and resources highlighted in the RADx-UP Public Health Emergency Playbook include:
- Working groups- CCPH developed the Advocating for Racial Equity: Guiding Patient-Provider Relationships for Improved Health Outcomes. with the Black/African American Working Group
- Resources for Community Engagement- CCPH has been a driving force in promoting CE Best Practices. Examples include expedited payment administrative support for RADx-UP partners, toolkits, and networking for the Say Yes COVID Test. Our leadership in this area has not only inspired confidence but also fostered efficiency in our partners.
- Consultation- Working with academicians, administrators, and community members to identify areas of need and deliver action items for support and solutions. CCPH offered RADx-UP office hours for a tailored consultation, ensuring that all voices were heard and valued in the process.
- Training and workshops supporting the CDCC Community Engagement Core and Engagement Impact Teams (EITS): We offered various programs and curricula to guide public health leaders and community members.
Communications: CCPH team members Alan Wells and Aliyha Hill are integral parts of the Sankofa Legacy Project team. In collaboration with DCRI Complex Stories and Communications, our team is writing chapters for the RADx-UP Playbook and is involved in the Dissemination Plan implementation,
Community Feedback: CCPH is actively promoting community inclusion in RADx-UP dissemination. As part of this effort, we will be hosting the CCPH-CDCC Community Consultation Studios in September 2024. These studios are designed to facilitate meaningful discussions and collaborations with our community partners, thereby ensuring their voices are not just heard, but also deeply valued and their needs are met.
