CCPH created the All of Us Researcher Academy HBCU Road Tour in partnership with RTI International to increase the engagement of HBCU researchers in the All of Us Researcher Workbench. The Kick-Off for the Road Tour, on January 18, 2023, featured and celebrated the first cohort of the All of Us Institutional Champions.

More about the All of Us Research Academy:

The Researcher Academy is a comprehensive program that provides training and technical assistance for researchers conducting research with the Workbench. On this cloud-based analytics platform, registered researchers can access participant data. The Researcher Academy also supports peer-to-peer learning and network-building among researchers and students from communities that are underrepresented in the biomedical workforce.

How does the All of Us Researcher Academy HBCU Road Tour connect to the work CCPH does?

Leading | CCPH is intentionally working with and engaging HBCUs to promote equitable access and utilization of the All of Us Researcher Workbench by a diverse array of researchers, which increases the exposure of work done by HBCU researchers and elevates their platform.

Convening | Our Road Tour events create in-person and nationwide gatherings for HBCU researchers and students to collaborate, connect, and learn from one another.

Dissemination | Event participants can learn the most up-to-date information about the All of Us Research Program, which includes the All of Us Researcher Workbench, the All of Us Researcher Academy, and how it relates to their work on HBCU campuses.
