Olivia Redd, MPH
Bio
Olivia Redd, MPH is an alumna of the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC-Chapel Hill. Her area of focus is in health disparities in chronic illnesses such as Cardiovascular Disease, Obesity, and Diabetes. She has an extensive background in research with CONE Health through UNCG, and Duke Clinical Research Institute, along with multiple other Public Health related projects. Upon the start of COVID-19 she later shifted her focus to the effect of the pandemic on those whose pre-existing illnesses became criteria for a high-risk COVID-19 patient. She spent part of her time in graduate school contact tracing and learning more about COVID with Duke Occupational Health and Wellness. She now serves as a Project Coordinator, assisting to assess the Long term impacts of COVID-19 through the RECOVER initiative.
